Happy Sunday!

One of the many blessings at our parish home is the wonderful VOLUNTEERS! This week we pause for a brief moment to say THANK YOU and celebrate the service many provide behind the scenes. We are so grateful for our founding members who have given hours of time, love and energy in various ways. We at Saint Joan of Arc parish are a grateful community and want to honor you on the Feast of the Birth of Mary on September 8th with a special gathering of food and fellowship.

The weekend of September 9th and 10th I invite all of our parishioners to browse, mingle, walk through and introduce yourself to the many volunteers in our parish. These are familiar faces and it would warm my heart to see you get to know members of your parish family.

What you can expect at the Ministry Fair is a family coming together as a community of believers. You will find our mission in action of “courageously following Christ by serving the community through Catholic liturgy, gospel values, charity and education!”

May God continue the good work he has begun and bring to completion! Please know of my gratitude for the many faithful families who walk through our door seeking to encounter the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. May Saint Joan of Arc, our patroness intercede for us! Go and glorify the Lord with your lives!

¡Feliz domingo!

¡Una de las muchas bendiciones en nuestra casa parroquial son los maravillosos VOLUNTARIOS! Esta semana hacemos una breve pausa para decir GRACIAS y celebrar el servicio que muchos brindan detrás de escena. Estamos muy agradecidos por nuestros miembros fundadores que nos han brindado horas de tiempo, amor y energía de diversas maneras. Nosotros en la parroquia de Santa Juana de Arco somos una comunidad agradecida y queremos honrarlo en la Fiesta del Nacimiento de María el 8 de septiembre con una reunión especial de comida y compañerismo.

El fin de semana del 9 y 10 de septiembre invito a todos nuestros feligreses a explorar, socializar, caminar y presentarse a los muchos voluntarios de nuestra parroquia. Estas son caras familiares y me alegraría el corazón verlos conocer a miembros de su familia parroquial.

Lo que puede esperar en la Feria Ministerial es una familia unida como comunidad de creyentes. Encontrará nuestra misión en acción de “seguir a Cristo con valentía sirviendo a la comunidad a través de la liturgia católica, los valores del Evangelio, la caridad y la educación”.

¡Que Dios continúe la buena obra que ha comenzado y la lleve a término! Sepan mi gratitud por las muchas familias fieles que cruzan nuestra puerta buscando encontrar al Señor Jesucristo Resucitado. ¡Que Santa Juana de Arco nuestra patrona interceda por nosotros! ¡Vayan a glorificar al Señor con sus vidas!
