Happy Sunday!

One of the greatest treasures of our parish is the presence of our Eucharistic and Adorable Jesus in our Saint Katharine Drexel Chapel for us to be in His presence and pray. What a loving and generous act of our Blessed Lord to console and strengthen us in our faith. The Imitation of Christ describes: “When Jesus is near, all is well and nothing seems difficult. When He is absent all is hard. When Jesus does not speak within, all other comfort is empty, but if He says only a word, it brings great consolation” (Book II Chapter 8).

Please join me for a Holy Hour for Priestly Vocations with Solemn Benediction every First Friday at 5pm on September 1st. This will continue every first Friday of the month to pray for this intention.

DE NUESTRO PASTOR

¡Feliz domingo!

Uno de los mayores tesoros de nuestra parroquia es la presencia de nuestro Eucarístico y Adorable Jesús en nuestra Capilla de Santa Catalina Drexel para que estemos en Su presencia y oremos. Que acto tan amoroso y generoso de nuestro Bendito Señor para consolarnos y fortalecernos en nuestra fe. La Imitación de Cristo describe: “Cuando Jesús está cerca, todo está bien y nada parece difícil. Cuando Él está ausente todo es difícil. Cuando Jesús no habla en el interior, todo otro consuelo es vacío, pero si Él dice sólo una palabra, trae un gran consuelo” (Libro II Capítulo 8).

Todos están invitados a rezar conmigo una Hora Santa por las Vocaciones Sacerdotales con Bendición Solemne cada Primer Viernes a las 5pm el 1 de Septiembre. Esto continuará cada primer viernes de mes para orar por esta intención.
