Happy Sunday!

In anticipation of the month of November which is dedicated to the poor souls in purgatory, a special Mass for your deceased loved ones will be offered. Available now in the narthex is the Book of the Dead. Please write the names of your loved ones to be remembered next month at the All Souls Candlelight Mass on November 2 at 6:00pm. All are invited to partake in this transcendent and beautiful offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in this particular way.

At each Mass, the priest remembers our beloved dead and asks God to grant them a place of happiness, light and peace. We apply a particular intention for living or deceased members of our family. The Church on All Souls day offers us a special maternal care that does not permit us to forget the poor souls in purgatory but rather comes to their aid through her powerful intercession.

Join me in praying for all the faithful departed with this prayer: Eternal Rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

¡Feliz domingo!

Anticipándose al mes de noviembre, dedicado a las pobres almas del purgatorio, se ofrecerá una misa especial para sus seres queridos fallecidos. Disponible ahora en el nártex está el Libro de los Muertos. Por favor escriba los nombres de sus seres queridos para ser recordados el próximo mes en la Misa a la luz de las velas de Todos los Difuntos el 2 de noviembre a las 6:00 p.m. Todos están invitados a participar de esta trascendente y hermosa ofrenda del Santo Sacrificio de la Misa de esta manera particular.

En cada Misa, el sacerdote recuerda a nuestros amados difuntos y pide a Dios que les conceda un lugar de alegría, luz y paz. Aplicamos una intención particular para los miembros vivos o fallecidos de nuestra familia. La Iglesia en el día de los Difuntos nos ofrece una atención maternal especial que no nos permite olvidar a las pobres almas del purgatorio, sino que acude en su ayuda a través de su poderosa intercesión.

Únete a mí en oración por todos los fieles difuntos con esta oración: Concédeles, oh Señor, el descanso eterno y brille para ellos la luz perpetua. Que sus almas y las de todos los fieles difuntos, por la misericordia de Dios, descansen en paz. Amén.
