Happy Sunday!

Thanks again to all of our Fish Fry volunteers and patrons! It’s hard to believe there is only more Fish Fry left this Lent. I love getting to see all of you who pass through for a meal. The weather has been getting better each week and more people are opting to dine in the Ramada. I’m grateful for the wonderful campus we have that allows us so many options for events like this. If you haven’t been to a Fish Fry yet, hopefully you’ll be able to join us next Friday for the finale. We’ll also have our grand prize drawing for our annual raffle. I hope to see you there!

One of the things I love about this parish is the great generosity that so many of you show in serving each other. There are many of you who pick up neighbors who can't drive and bring them to Mass each Sunday. Many of you take Holy Communion to nursing homes, the sick, and family members who are not able to come to Mass. I am so grateful for each of you for the wonderful example you give of Christian charity. Thank you for such a generous witness.

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Mass will begin outside for the blessing of the palms and then we will proceed inside for the remainder of Mass. Holy Week will be upon us! I hope everyone has a great week, know of my prayers!

¡Feliz domingo!

¡Gracias de nuevo a todos nuestros voluntarios y patrocinadores de Pescado Frito! Es difícil creer que solo queda un Pescado Frito más esta Cuaresma. Me encanta ver a todos los que pasan por aquí para comer. El clima ha mejorado cada semana y más personas optan por cenar en el Ramada. Estoy agradecido por el maravilloso campus que tenemos que nos permite tantas opciones para eventos como este. Si todavía no has ido a una fritura de pescado, con suerte podrás unirte a nosotros el próximo viernes para el final. También tendremos nuestro sorteo del gran premio para nuestra rifa anual. ¡Espero verte allí!

Una de las cosas que me encantan de esta parroquia es la gran generosidad que muchos de ustedes muestran sirviéndose unos a otros. Hay muchos de ustedes que recogen a los vecinos que no pueden manejar y los traen a Misa todos los domingos. Muchos de ustedes llevan la Sagrada Comunión a hogares de ancianos, enfermos y familiares que no pueden asistir a Misa. Estoy muy agradecido por cada uno de ustedes por el maravilloso ejemplo que dan de la caridad cristiana. Gracias por tan generoso testimonio.

El próximo domingo es Domingo de Ramos. La Misa comenzará afuera para la bendición de las palmas y luego procederemos adentro para el resto de la Misa. ¡La Semana Santa estará sobre nosotros! ¡Espero que todos tengan una gran semana, conozcan mis oraciones!
